The sounds of timeless classical melodies are reflected in the sights of familiar scenes. Twelve Canadian photographers have contributed an array of beautiful images. This dual sensory stimulation paced at a slower tempo provides an opportunity for pleasure, connection, reminiscence, review, storytelling, comfort and therapeutic support along life’s journey.	On Wings of Song A Documentary on Music Therapy in Palliative Care Deborah Salmon has worked as a music therapist with the terminally ill since 1984. Featuring her work in the Palliative Care Unit of the Royal Victoria Hospital, On Wings of Song, a 43 minute DVD documentary, shows how a skilled music therapist may help a diverse group of patients find spiritual and emotional nourishment during their last days. On Wings of Song is an inspirational and educational resource for hospice palliative care education or music therapy awareness.

Music Care: Musical Approaches in Caring Communities a practical resource guide While intensive, specialized training is achieved in certain scopes of practice like music therapy, music thanatology, creative arts therapies, and sound therapies, there is a need for all of us to understand (at some level) the impact of the sounds and the music around us on our health and wellbeing. Furthermore, in order to use music in situations of care, one does not need to be a professional musician or therapist. This guide will demonstrate that all of can care through music.
