Wendy has been a featured recitalist in Canada, the United States and Europe. Among her awards are a Canada Council Grant, winner of the 1990 Atlanta Young Artist Competition, and 1992 Toronto Heliconian Young Artist of the Year. Wendy received her Master's of Music degree in Performance at Rutgers University, studying with Bernard Greenhouse and went on to England to study with William Pleeth. Wendy has played with numerous orchestras including the Columbus Symphony, the Savannah Symphony, the Amadeus Ensemble, the New World Trio, the Aradia Baroque Ensemble, the National Ballet Orchestra, the Royal Opera Orchestra and Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony as well as in the pit orchestras of the Phantom of the Opera, Crazy for You, Napoleon, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and West Side Story. She has also played shows with Josh Groban, Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Diana Krall, Bernadette Peters, Dionne Warwick, Led Zeppelin, the Tea Party, The Philosopher Kings, and numerous others. Wendy is also a busy studio musician. Along with being the cellist of the exiting new group BOWFIRE, Wendy has also arranged several of the pieces on the group's premiere CD. Wendy has also acted as co-producer on several recordings.
